Welcome to Wool Winders Workshops. Frances and Alison established the business in late 2021 following the closure of Rowan at Osprey Home.
In addition to a varied workshop programme, we run Knitting Escape Days in collaboration with tourism operators, designers and yarn stores around the country with the objective of bringing knitters together socially and creatively to share retreat experiences in knitting.
We believe that knitting should be accessible to everyone as a beneficial means of relaxation, improving mental focus and creative dexterity. We welcome knitters of all abilities and aim to offer supportive and encouraging environment for customers.
