Meet the Coach - Kerry Kimber

Having run my own successful small business teaching knitting classes since 2010, and as the creator of the award winning Kids Knit programme for children, I specialise in training and supporting knitters to run their own successful businesses teaching knitting and crafting classes in their local area.

I am also the Creative Learning Manager for Rowan Yarns and The DMC Group with responsibility for Knit Along tutorials, step-by-steps, educational writing (books, blogs, articles), and organising Rowan Connect events.

I live in Edinburgh with my husband, four children and a crazy collie dog called Autumn.

Meet the Coach - Emelye Webster

I am brand manager and coach at Knitting For All which involves assisting with everything from administration and marketing, to coaching and supporting members. I LOVE to hear from people who are interested in teaching knitting and other crafts and find it such a privilege to support our members in their knitting and craft teaching journeys.

I am also an experienced knitting teacher who started with a Knitting For All franchise in 2012 and now teach through my small business Knit with Em.

I live with my husband, two primary aged kids and fish in Dumfries, South West Scotland.

I feel full of enthusiasm to get going and build my business as a knitting teacher. I am now holding two classes for adults in my home with room for more and I am starting to do workshops on line teaching how to knit socks! Exciting times! Thank you Kerry x

- Rachel Armitage

Expectations exceeded, this has given me lots of ideas for working with varied groups and different crafts whilst now having the knowledge to keep accurate records and work out costings and viability of classes. Kerry is an excellent facilitator.
