Hello, my name is Suzanne Brewer and I am an accredited Knitting for All Teacher, based in Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex.
My company, Mabel’s Wool Crafts is busy developing a network of volunteer knitters and crocheters who create wonderful woollen items to donate to charity. These items include teddies, baby clothes and blankets. I work with both established groups and individuals and we meet both face-to-face and remotely. I am an experienced teacher and am able to offer both technical support and encouragement to volunteers of all ages. We donate to a variety of charitable organisations including The Children’s Society, Women’s Refuges, schools, nurseries and care homes. We have also donated to refugee centres in Essex and orphanages in Romania, Kenya and the Lebanon.
We gain pleasure from helping others but have also made good friends and developed our own skills, self-esteem and confidence in the process. Please feel free to contact me and join us.
