WELCOME

Hi all, I'm Claire. My mum taught me when I was 7 to knit with pink yarn!  My Zimbabwean grandma crocheted large crochet dollies for her church and my Irish Great Aunts on my Dad's side had some wonderful old patterns and knitting books in Mallow, Ireland. Their legacies live on through my work.

I completed a BA Hons Textiles at Central st. Martin's in 2004. I spent 9 yrs in Visual Merchandising building windows for John lewis flagships. Some were featured in Retail Week. I then taught at the Fashion Retail Academy and had a small business before starting Knitting For All. It brings me so much joy teaching kids knitting for me it’s rewarding and a valuable skill in a busy digital world! We do lots of vibrant pompoms and my favourite stitches are cable stitches and moss and smock stitches.
