Hi, I am Rachel and I live in Yorkshire. Knitting has always been in my life and I have worked with it in one form or another since leaving college over 30 years ago! I have always knitted and my big dream was to own a Rowan Yarn shop. My dream came true in 1990 when I opened a tiny shop in The Corn Exchange in Leeds and from that moment on I have been involved with knitting. I absolutely love teaching people how to knit and I have run several workshops teaching people how to knit socks which is my real passion. I have recently made sock kits with my own bespoke knitting pattern so you can make your own scrappy socks from home.
