CLASS BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
BY BOOKING OUR CLASSES, EVENTS & ACTIVITIES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS.
SAFETY: KIDS KNIT
- Your child’s safety is of utmost importance to us. For this reason we have drawn up some Safety Rules which are contained in your child’s Kids Knit folder. If you would like a copy of these, please ask. For your child’s safety and for the safety of other children in the class, any child who behaves in a disruptive or dangerous way won’t be allowed to continue at Kids Knit. Children excluded for these reasons won’t receive a refund for missed classes.
- Knitting For All is not responsible for your child out with class times. Your child should arrive on time (not early) and should be collected on time. If the person who is collecting your child is going to be a few minutes late, please call your Knitting For All contact as soon as possible to let them know. Where a child is not collected from a class after 15 minutes, Social Services will be called to take responsibility for the child.
- All Kids Knit teachers hold current DBS/PVG Certificates/Garda Clearance and are fully insured. We carry out risk assessments at all our venues. However our teachers DO NOT have first aid certificates. If you are at all concerned that your child might get into medical difficulties because of serious allergies, asthma or other medical conditions, they should not come to the class.
Kids Knit: Your teacher will provide all materials to follow the Kids Knit course, but can’t provide unlimited yarn for knitting at home.
YPK and Knit Night & Day: Rules vary, please ask your teacher.
Payment for sessions of classes or holiday clubs must be made in full before the first class of the session. Full payment for parties of one-off workshops must be made 7 days before the event.
CLASS CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
We all know that things happen in life, whether it’s severe weather, an illness or some other conspiracy. Sometime things just don’t go as we expect them to! We have developed this policy on class cancellations that we believe is fair to both us as the providers of classes workshops and our customers.
Regular weekly classes and holiday clubs
A refund or alternative class may be offered if:
• The Knitting For All franchisee is responsible for cancelling a class.
• If you wish to cancel a full session of classes and 7 days notice is given. Your booking fee, if applicable, will not be refunded.
No refund or alternative classes will be offered for the following:
• If you have booked a session of classes and are unable to attend one or more of those classes.
• Where a class has to be cancelled for reasons out with our control. For example, severe weather or a problem with the venue.
• Where a child has been asked to leave the class for bad behaviour.
Parties and events
A full refund will be given if at least 14 days notice is given of a party or event cancellation
Changes to the booking may be made at the discretion of the franchisee if at least 7 days notice is given.
