The buzz around new TV show, Game of Wool will bring knitting into the spotlight this Autumn. In this session, we’ll explore how we can tap into the excitement, attract new students, and grow classes and communities.

A behind-the-scenes look at Chloe Thurlow’s latest work. She’ll be sharing details of her exciting new Knit Along, along with a glimpse into other creative projects she has on the go.

Let’s celebrate the creativity, connection, and community we’ve shared this year—through our classes, coaching sessions, and Knit Night zoom meetups.

By train: Our suggested hotel is very close to the train station in Wakefield. Rowan HQ is 30 min walk or a short car journey from Wakefield Westgate train station.

By bus: there are lots of options, depending on where you are travelling from. You may need to go to Leeds by coach and then get a local bus from there to Wakefield.

By car: Consider car sharing; use our FB group to make arrangements. Free parking is available at both the suggested hotel and at Rowan HQ.

WHERE TO STAY

We suggest staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Wakefield - Queen Street, Wakefield, WF1 1JU United Kingdom, or another centrally located hotel. 

You might like to save money by sharing a room - use our FB group to make arrangements.

FOOD

For those who would like to join us, we will be going out to Quabana for dinner together in the evening of Thursday 12th June. It's walking distance from the suggested hotel.

The table reservation is for 7.30pm. Meet us in the foyer of the Holiday Inn Express at 7.15pm or join us at the restaurant.

A sandwich-type lunch will be provided during our get-together at Rowan HQ. Please email Kerry about dietary requirements.
