ATTENDING OUR CLASSES: WHY WE NEED TO COLLECT PERSONAL DATA FROM YOU AND HOW WE WILL KEEP IT SECURE
The Data Protection Officer for the classes you or your child are attending is your local franchisee who is running the classes.
Our franchisees collect personal data about you and your child so that they can keep your child safe and keep you informed about the classes that your child is attending.
Franchisees may share your personal data with their authorised personnel (including, but not limited to, all authorised teachers and administrative personnel) so that they may provide you with goods or services and communicate with you about them (e.g. where there is a change to the time or location of a class).
Our franchisees store personal data pertaining to our classes in printed format in their class folders and on their iPads which they back up on the iCloud. We store your personal data securely.
Some of our franchisees take bookings for classes through 3rd party online booking systems such as BookWhen, Active Network and others. Your Knitting For All Franchisee will provide further information about the privacy policies pertaining to these 3rd party organisations when you book your classes.
When your child stops attending our classes, we destroy your printed personal data and delete your personal data from our iPads, the iCloud and 3rd party online booking systems.
