I learned to knit as a child in school and my Mum encouraged me from then on. I mostly knitted for other people, sweaters, cardigans and more recently have created commissioned pieces. I also learned to crochet and sew at the same time and have used all three skills for most of my life. Most recently, felting has entered the equation and I find combining things can be really satisfying.   I am a yarn (and fabric) hoarder and usually have about 6-7 projects on the go. I do always finish them even if it takes me a while sometimes! I love all natural materials and have a passion for colour and texture. Knitting is relaxing, satisfying and makes me very happy.
