Hello! I’m Maddie and I run weekly Kids Knit, Young People Knit and Knit Night & Day classes in the Corstorphine and Murrayfield area.
Like many people, I learnt to knit as a child and picked it back up as an adult and now I can’t go a day without knitting! So if you’d like to catch the knitting bug by joining a class, attending a workshop or throwing a Knitting For All party, please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you!

Knit Night & Day

Beginner’s Knit Night 

Mondays 7.30-9.30pm

6th, 13th & 20th November

Corstorphine location (Private Address near Drum Brae South)

£40 for 3 sessions

Over the course of three sessions knit yourself a cosy hat, cowl or mitts. We will use goregous chunky yarn and wooden needles to create a warm accessory just in time for winter! Suitable for absolute beginners or novice knitters – all tuition, materials and refreshments provided.

 

Knit Night & Day

Wednesdays 6.45pm – 8.15pm

Corstorphine (at private address, email for me for details).  Learn to knit or crochet from scratch or brush up your skills and discover new craft projects. Taught by Maddie, this is an informal session of classes, where you are welcome to bring along your own project or be provided with a beginners kit to get you started. The best bit about these sessions? Meeting other like-minded people who you can learn, share and create with. Happy, creative you is only a needle and thread away. £30 for six sessions, all tuition included, cup of tea and home baking too! Or come along to a drop-in session for £6. BOOK HERE

Fridays, 9.15am – 11am

CAFE VIGO, 88 St John’s Road, Corstorphine. A friendly and informal drop-in class for both beginners and more experienced knitters. Improve your skills and discover new knitting projects – we offer knitting advice, inspiration, help and lots of chat!
